AXA Achievement Scholarship . . . Are you active in your community? Have you led a project that benefits others? Have you overcome personal challenges? Learn more and apply online at www.axa-achievement.com. Apply by DECEMBER 1, 2011.

Fireside Essay Scholarship . . . Five $1000 cash scholarships will be awarded. Who is eligible?. . . Any student enrolled in a Catholic high school who is a senior in the 2011-2012 school year. To participate, write an essay (in 750 words max) on the topic "How is your religious education influencing your life?" Criteria for selection includes outstanding leadership in embracing religious education. Apply in ND Guidance Office. Applications due to ND Guidance Office DECEMBER 15, 2011.

National Wild Turkey Federation Scholarship Program . . . Students should be graduating seniors with a 3.0 GPA. Students must be pursuing a degree at an accredited institution of higher education. Students must support the preservation of the hunting tradition and actively participate in hunting sports. A copy of current hunting license is required. Obtain application from ND Guidance Office. Application deadline is JANUARY 1, 2012.

BK Scholars . . . High school seniors, Burger King employees and children of Burger King employees are eligible to apply. For eligibility and how to apply visit http://www.haveityourwayfoundation.org/bksp_scholarship_eligibility.html. Application period is NOVEMBER 15, 2011 - JANUARY 10, 2012.

AXA Achievement Community Scholarship. . . Learn more and apply online at www.axa-achievement.com. Apply by FEBRUARY 1, 2012

GE-Reagan Foundation Scholarship Program . . . This national program awards college scholarships to high school seniors who embody the characteristics of President Ronald Reagan at school, in the community, in the workplace, and at home. They are looking for students with leadership, drive, integrity, and citizenship. Recipients receive $10,000 renewable scholarships. Apply online through www.reaganfoundation.org/scholarships. Application deadline is FEBRUARY 17, 2012.

Louisiana Rural Water Association. . . Open to students who reside on a water system that is a member of the LRWA and are interested in pursuing a career in the water or wastewater field. The scholarship application is available to download from the LRWA website at www.lrwa.org as a word document. This will allow you to complete the application on your computer rather than using a typewriter. The TYPED applications are due by MARCH 1, 2012 to the LRWA Office. La Tech Horn Scholarship . . . Outstanding scholarship for a horn student enrolling at Tech in Fall 2012 and majoring in music education. Award includes a full waiver of dorm fees for a standard room and $3000 a year in scholarship dollars. Students must be receiving TOPS to be eligible for this award.
