Myrta Fair Craig Scholarship. . . $500 scholarship presented by Rayne Acadian Tribune to a graduating senior at Rayne High or Notre Dame HS who is pursuing a college degree in some field of mass communications.  Candidate must submit a transcript, description of their college plans and anticipated major degree, and a sample of their writing to the managing editor of the Rayne Acadian Tribune no later than FRIDAY, MAY 4.

American Legion Hospital Auxiliary Pink Ladies Scholarship. . . .scholarships will be awarded to students interested in continuing their education in the healthcare field.  This may be in pre-med, nursing, medical records, radiology, etc.  Pick up application from ND Guidance office.  Deadline is April 18, 2008.

Acadia Parish Bar Association Scholarship . . . . $500 one time cash scholarship will be awarded to senior who has an interest in a field of law.  Please visit Mr. Terry in the ND Guidance office FMI.

Acadia Players Performing Arts Scholarship. . . . Three $500 scholarships will be awarded to graduating seniors.  Not limited to theater majors, students may major in any field but must include at least one performing arts class in their first semester of college.  For application visit the ND Guidance office.  Postmark deadline is April 25, 2008.

Slemco Scholarship Program. . . . . .open to SLEMCO members.  Twenty $2,000 scholarships will be awarded to SLEMCO members or their children in a random drawing at Annual Membership Meeting on Sat., June 7, 2008.  Applications available in ND Guidance office.  Application deadline is May 8, 2008.
