Curriculum
Notre Dame High School offers a comprehensive curriculum rooted in the Catholic philosophy of education. All courses align with the standards of the Louisiana State Department of Education, the Diocese of Lafayette Office of Catholic Schools, and the Louisiana Board of Regents.
Operating on a seven-period day, Notre Dame allows students to earn the 27 credits required for graduation. Course offerings are designed to fulfill the requirements of the Taylor Opportunity Program for Students (TOPS), making students eligible for merit-based scholarships at participating in-state colleges and universities.
To support academic excellence, the school offers a variety of Honors classes for high-achieving students. Additionally, students have the opportunity to earn over 30 hours of in-person Dual Enrollment credit through partnerships with Louisiana State University, Louisiana Tech University, and Northwestern State University. In-person Dual Enrollment classes are dependent upon student interest. An expanded offering of online dual enrollment options is also available upon request.
